Dinner Out

In extremely unrelated-to-the-store news, this shopkeeper is approaching her wedding anniversary and would like some opinions on where to go have a nice dinner. After the store closes, of course. It's the third anniversary, which is "leather", which is not so good to eat!

Reminder to all: Lena Corwin reception, Thursday night, come and say hello. Thanks to Lucky for listing us in their weekly event calendar.

And then: Friday I'll be at Brooklyn Designs, checking out the coolness and maybe sneaking off to Jacque Torres at lunchtime.

happy anniversary!

we just went to Locanda Vini e Olii in Clinton Hill and it was sooo good. kind of pricey, so it would be perfect for a special occasion.

Happy Anniversary, Rena!

Three suggestions:

I love Applewood. For my birthday, Jae took me there for their multi-course prix fixe with wine pairings and it was incredibly delicious and lovely and romantic. Plus it's as seasonal, local, and organic as it gets!

Sakura on 5th Ave in the Slope is by far the best sushi I've had in Brooklyn, and they have a very intimate back garden.

And then I agree with Grace -- Aurora in W'burg IS super romantic, and they have a charming garden, too.

Bon appetit!
