Autumn Colors

The leaves are starting to turn here, and I want much punchier colors in the store. I finally shot some pictures today.

Storefront window - lots of reflection! I have hung curly willow branches with scarves and jewelry.

Also in the window - baby togs, pillows, men's tees and Korean desk calendar.

New cards from Jill Bliss! I have some of her 2006 calendars also.

Guys, this table is all you. Though your girlfriend might steal these shirts.

Late afternoon shadlows.

New Clothing

Today is a beautiful fall day and I just got a ton of clothing for men, women and children. I know I am primarily an accessories/design shop (or at least this is what I'm telling everyone) but there is so much love going into clothing as well right now, I can't help myself.

For guys we have shirts from a new line, Turk + Taylor, from my friend Andrew in San Francisco. The shirts are lovingly hand-dyed, hand-printed, and hand numbered (there are 960 of each style, is this a magical number?) The designs are somewhat wistful and very California, not violent or tough but just lovely. I have a treehouse print and one with little desert plants. I'll follow up with women's tees in the spring.

For men and women there are shirts in long and cap sleeves by Miss Kelly Lynn Jones, a great artist down in Los Angeles. Yes, there are deer and helicopters involved, but not together.

And for babies and tots, I have the super Lil Awesome line from Seattle, by Kate, also an artist. Actually so is Andrew! I'm so happy they are making some affordable art for everyone. Kate has hand-dyed onesies, in not your average baby clothes colors, with her fun illustrations on them.
